Most people who find themselves on this website are feeling dissatisfied in some area of their lives. On the outside, things may not seem that bad. In fact, you might be thinking that your life should feel good and you should be happy, but there's this underlying discontent, and you keep finding yourself searching for something more fulfilling.

It's not that you're unmotivated to make things better. Maybe you've done therapy in the past, or yoga, or you've explored other paths to personal development. But you're not getting enough of what you need on your own, and you sense something else is possible.

If that's what is going on for you, I want you to know you are not alone. I also want you to know there is a path to feeling calm and relaxed and feeling true happiness. This calmness and happiness is a lot closer than you think. Pursuing counseling, will allow you to do the work necessary to free yourself.

Counseling allows you to explore your thinking, your body, and your soul so you better understand yourself, your needs and wants. Counseling allows you the opportunity to discuss the things that shame you, embarrass you, and control you. When you can do this safely and free from judgment you will find you feel a deeper sense of fulfillment, healing, and happiness.

Therapy is an awesome opportunity to have one-on-one care and attention so you can gain insight and perspective. My work goes straight to the core. It alleviates the suffering caused by cultural injustice, family circumstances, life experiences and self- harming thought patterns and behaviors. I utilize mindfulness and body-centered techniques, and I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma therapy, eating disorder treatments, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, all of which can be extremely helpful in supporting concrete changes in your daily life.

Listen, I so get it. There were many years in my own life when it felt like something inside was gnawing at me. Things just weren't right, and I couldn't figure out why. I'll tell you more about me and my experience as we get to know each other.
